FAMILY TRADITION
Since 1985, Tom's Repair Shop has proudly remained a family-owned and operated establishment. Although Tom is now semi-retired, his children carry on the values he has instilled in them. Amanda, his daughter, manages the front counter, ensuring everything operates seamlessly. Olivia, also his daughter, works diligently behind the scenes in her office. Tommy and Nick, his sons, can be found in the back, skillfully turning wrenches and overseeing the repair shop. It fills our family with immense pride to serve yours with the highest quality of service.
IN THE BEGINNING...
Tom began "Tom's Repair Shop" on his family's dairy farm located in New Paltz. After a few years of business growth, he relocated to Main Street in New Paltz, which is now known as "The Inner Wall." During this transition, Judy, Tom's wife, joined the team, working behind the scenes and contributing significantly to the shop's success. As the business continued to expand, Tom purchased property and built a new facility on South Putt Corners Road in New Paltz. He then moved the business to this new location, where it still operates today.

MEET THE TEAM
Tom
Tom has been passionate about the automotive industry since his youth. He dedicated many years to building a successful and reputable shop. Now, after 40 years of hard work, Tom is relishing his well-deserved semi-retirement. He enjoys traveling, cherishing time with family, and exploring new experiences!
Amanda
As one of Toms daughters, Amanda's career at Toms began early. Her knowledge and commitment to providing quality service to all is unmatched. She enjoys working with customers and being able to get to know each person that comes through the door. When Amanda is not at work she loves spending time with her family.
Olivia
Olivia is the youngest daughter of Tom. While she primarily works behind the scenes in her office, she occasionally lends a hand at the front counter. Beyond her professional commitments, Olivia loves to travel. She serves as the president of the non-profit organization "Gifts From The Heart For Downs," advocates for Alzheimer's awareness, and cherishes quality moments with her dog, Kahne!
Tommy
As Tom's oldest son Tommy grew up learning the ways of a mechanic from his father. His passion for the industry has grown him into an important component of the shop. Tommy is also our head Tow Truck operator. His years of experience have ensured his high quality and safe work. When Tommy is not working he enjoys, hanging out!
Nick
Nick, Tom's younger son, is our lead technician and is highly respected for his meticulous work ethic and unwavering dedication to success. Every day, he fully engages in his responsibilities, demonstrating a remarkable commitment to providing quality service. On the rare occasions when he isn't working, you can find Nick enjoying time with his fiancée, playing with his dog, or socializing with friends!
Paul
Paul started his career at Toms 30 years ago! Paul's extensive knowledge of vehicles and mechanical work has allowed him to be a great asset to the shop. Paul loves the automotive industry because it has allowed him to help others. When he is not working, Paul loves to camp and spend time with his family.
T3
Tommy also known as "T3" has worked for several years growing his knowledge of the automotive industry. His hard work and dedication to learning has helped him become a great technician. When he is not working T3 enjoys making pizza, hanging out with his friends and driving around.
Mark
Mark has been a familiar presence for many years, thanks to his marriage to Tom’s daughter, Amanda. He leads our Heavy Duty operations and boasts an impressive record as a three-time Super-Tech Champion, with 19 years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks and equipment. Mark truly is the best in the industry. When he is not working, Mark enjoys spending time with his family and dogs.
Kathleen
With over 26 years of experience in the automotive industry, Kathleen brings a wealth of knowledge, professionalism, and dedication to helping our customers have the best experience possible. Her extensive background and customer-focused approach make her a valuable addition to the family. Outside of work, Kathleen enjoys traveling and has a special appreciation for horses. Whether she’s planning her next adventure or admiring these beautiful animals, she enjoys making time for the things she loves.
Kahne
Kahne, Tom's cherished granddog, is frequently seen napping on the couch behind the desk. He delights in joining his mom at work, and when he's not at the office, he enjoys frolicking with his puppy pals!
